Good news, we've just rolled out a very highly requested feature; client impersonation!

Under the "actions" menu item on a client record you can find a new "impersonate" button that'll ask you how long you would like to impersonate your client for. Once you click "proceed" it'll automatically redirect you into the client portal and you can use the existing account switcher to switch back to your main account.
