Income & Expenditure (Total Amounts)

With income and expenditure it would be really helpful to have the system automatically calculate their annual income from the various inputs. It would also be great if it could do this on expenditure so it is easy to see income/expenditure differences. At the moment we have to manually calculate the totals.

Hi all, thanks for the votes and comments on this. We’ve rolled out part one on Plannr for this but I’m now working on totalling the income too. Will post another update shortly once that’s rolled out :)

New to Plannr and finding it difficult to understand why total income vs expenditure isn’t already a standard feature.

Curious how others are currently demonstrating affordability of contributions and payments etc without this?

Also wondering why there’s no gross and net entry for all income lines, or a total net vs essential/discretionary spending breakdown. It doesn’t appear to total any expenditure either. Noticed this post was opened two years ago, which is concerning as I’ve used four other CRMs in my career so far that all included this functionality. Would be helpful to hear how others are working around this.

Just started using Plannr and I cannot believe the system does not do this, I would have thought this would have been a basic requirement for a CRM system that helps you to offer advice based on affordability. Is this in the planning? I can see a lot more manual work ahead.

I think this is crucial otherwise you can’t see how much disposable income they should have - to be honest I thought it was already in the work queue but seems like it isn’t
