Remove Joint Client contact - unneccesary duplicate

Where you have two clients (a married couple for example) with some joint plans and single plans, my understanding is that you need to create 3 client records for this:

  • Joint record
  • Client 1
  • Client 2

This creates an unneccesary duplicate and the need to maintain a 3rd client record (joint). My understanding is that the Joint client record is currently necessary to add the Joint plans within.

If the Plans could just be linked to two individual client records (the ability to choose which clients own this policy), this would be much cleaner and easier and removes the need for creating/maintaining a Joint Client record. Thank you.
