Document Builder not working

I've amended/created a coupelof document templates which appear to have saved correctly but although it says "Please wait whilst we build that template preview" when I click 'Preview (PDF)' to generate anew template preview PDF, nothing is ever generated. I've tried this a dozen times over the last 24 hours. Is there a broader problem with the Document Builder or is it just me?
