One of the things that first interested me about Plannr was the concept of automation. However, I don't think the automation goes far enough!
The two areas I am looking at are new business and reviews. For me, I want automation to take away the tasks that have to be done and take time, but are repeatable. For a new business case the basics I would like to do are:
This would be based on a client being added as a prospect for example. Ideally I would also be able to send a risk questionnaire from our preferred provider and get documents signed (via DocuSign though!) but these are aspects that don't already exist whereas the change I am suggesting is to an existing feature.
With a review I would like to do the same thing but send a slightly different fact find and start a different workflow. This would be based on the client's next review date.
The only parts of this that I am able to do by automation is send the SMS and start a workflow. The workflow would prompt me to send the fact find. This is easy enough with the new case as this just forms part of the process of adding them. However, when this is date driven I have to make sure that I send it promptly after the automation starts. It would be far easier if the fact find request were sent as part of the automation.
By automating this I can remove another part of my workflow.
