We had noticed a clients conversation message being repeated to us which would indicate he had sent it twice, which is not like him but then this morning as I was messaging a client I observed what I think must have happened his end too โ the app became slow responding in the background and when I completed my message and pressed the send icon nothing appeared to have happened, so naturally pressed send again. Still nothing happened โ and then the message went but now twiceโฆ.and so two email alerts to the client.
Appreciate these things will happen from time to time (itโs IT after all) but is there anyway that a fail safe can be built in so you are prompted to confirm you want a second copy sent after the system has, in the background but unknown to us, already logged the first command? That would prevent a frustrated adviser hitting the send key multiple times if the lag in the command is even longer than it was this morning ๐.
Also I note the send command key does not show any indication it has acknowledged the command, like changing colour or compressing so it indicates the key has been clicked โ is that something that could be done fairly easily? I notice it does that when clicking on other action keys, like the Action key!
