🚨 Scheduled Server Maintenance Monday 23 Sep 9pm-11pm 🚨

Just a heads up that we’re doing some essential server maintenance next Monday night so Plannr will be unavailable between 9pm and 11pm on Monday evening, 23rd September.

The update will allow us to freely add and switch servers in the future without changing any of our infrastructure that our integrators plug into, so it’s a win for all!

Thanks for your understanding!

Improved: Search results 🔍

We've rolled out some fairly chunky updates to the search within Plannr overnight that should make searching for things sooooo much easier now.

Searching for addresses, emails, phone numbers, and NI numbers will now show you the client information these items belong to. When searching for NI numbers it’s recommended to not include spaces so that it will search for the entire NI number. With spaces it might return results that match each part of the query which might not be relevant. You can still search for policy numbers for plans too, and those will be returned also.

We have also reduced the number of results which are returned to help reduce the clutter, such as when searching for a client name, it will not longer return lots of folder and files, because the file location path happened to include the client name. Instead it will only return results for folders and files which match the name, and not the path.

We hope you like the upgraded search functionality! Happy searching!

Various improvements

Hello and happy Friday to you!

Our team have rolled out a number of little improvements for Plannr this afternoon and we thought you might like to know that the following has just been pushed live:

  • an improved help pop-up when choosing the role for a new employee (we'll be introducing these all over the place in Plannr now)
  • a reworked "logout" section on the client portal so that the links are always visible
  • the left-hand sidebar is now "sticky" e.g. if you expand the menu to reveal the text and icons and reload the page it'll remember and keep it open
  • small tweak to the URL of cases to make them more consistent with other urls in Plannr
  • Fixed a bug with viewing signature requests (broken link)
  • Better labels on the client create / update forms for some of the yes / no fields including the contact preferences section
  • Fixed an issue where error messages would be shown even if the error has been fixed on addons
  • Added a new redirect when you attempt to click onto a task that's since been deleted
  • Added a new filter on the notes section to allow you to show notes of a specific type (e.g. call notes)

Enjoy!

New: Meeting booking links

You now have an additional field when you edit an employee where you can set your own meeting booking link.

We’ve not integrated with Calendly or any other service, but instead built it so that you can pop your own meeting link into Plannr instead. If you’re already using Microsoft Booking or Calendly or Appointy or anything else, Plannr will still work.

Once you’ve popped your link into Plannr, we’ll then display a “Book a meeting” link in the client portal for clients to automagically schedule their meetings with you.

We hope this helps so give it a try! If you have any questions or issues please don’t hesitate to contact us.

NEW: Revamped UI and Navigation

We're absolutely delighted to announce that the fresh UI and navigation has just been shipped on Plannr.

This has been a labour of love, and hopefully it'll be a much nicer way for you to all use Plannr.

Whilst we've updated the look and feel of the adviser facing side of Plannr, the client facing interface hasn't changed but we are planning some subsequent updates to that soon too.

We hope you like the fresh coat of paint!

All the best,

G and the Plannr Team

New: Key Business Metrics 📈

Exciting news for those that get a fuzzy feeling from stats - the key metrics page is now live in Plannr!

If you log in and take a look at the "Business" section on the left hand side of your Plannr navigation you'll find a new link for the key metrics page.

This feature is designed to be a really simple overview of everything that's going on in your business right now, but also provides you with the ability to compare the against previous points in time. It's a very simple way of looking at any significant changes in the last 12 months, for example.

We're viewing this as version 1 of the page, but we've aleady had some feedback on other tiles that people would like to see so we'll get those into our roadmap as soon as we can.

In the meantime, feel free to let us know if there's any additional tiles you would like to be able to see.

All the best, G and the Plannr team
